The café was perfect for breakfast. Stunning location of the hotel up to North Conway or down to the Portland area. Also, it was approximately a 15-minute walk from a well-regarded museum, which was a plus.

The location was stunning and exceptionally nice for exploring this very nice area, just next door to a scenic lake with a lot of character.

Appreciated my stay, it was such wonderful! Everything was excellent from the staff to the room, very comfy bed and newly decorated room. The location was nice and unbeatable, not far from Highland Lake and private beach and great restaurants. It also was close to downtown.

I had the most delightful and unexpected surprise during my recent stay at Highland Lake Resort. While visiting the area, I decided to take a mini-vacation and stumbled upon this wonderful gem. The simplicity and beauty of the property amazed me, with its picturesque Maine lakefront, canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and a dock for jumping into the water. The perfectly positioned hammock was my favorite spot to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings.

The location was stunning and nice for exploring this very very nice area, near to private beach, great restaurants and a short hike.
